Franchise
Pitcher's AB is a privately owned company with head quarters in Karlstad, Sweden. The company started in 2003 and is structured as a franchise chain leasing our business concept to other companies for a specified monthly fee. The franchise contract gives the company the right to use the Pitcher's brand, concept, purchase agreements, central marketing, business partners and know how.
To become a Pitcher's franchisee we always look at the following issues:
- Experience and record of the franchisee (leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, credit history)
- Size of the town and the competition
- Size of the pub and where the pub is situated in the town
- Possibility to have outdoor service in summer
The next step is to create the design and rebuilding plan of the new pub. Our architect and construction company will submit drawings and an offer for the rebuilding which takes about 8-12 weeks. The costs are normally about 800-1.200 Euro / square metre. During the construction Pitcher's provides all the know how to reduce the production time and ensure a good start for the new business. All staff receive training in the concept and service level before opening.
Pitcher's provides the franchisee access to a profitable concept and brand that includes:
- Favourable purchasing agreements and discounts
- Central marketing of the Pitcher's brand
- Access to Pitcher's manual and marketing on the intranet (pitchnet)
- Access to Pitcher's training program (service, perfect serve, financial etc)
- Exchanges with sister restaurants within the chain
- Contact network and client agreements within both the sports and restaurant branches
